As one of the authorities on refinery engineering, E2G sets the standards worldwide for infrastructure safety and consultation services. This is actually the second website I have helped design and implement with E2G, about four years after the initial version.
Working within their existing brand identity, the new E2G site needed to place a greater emphasis on their B2B software and services. This led to the layout of software pages emulating an ecommerce product page to help drive conversion. Likewise, due to the length of copy within pages, it was suggested that E2G’s internal content team ensure graphics helped break up longer pages.
E2G’s signature product, Practices, is a massive database of documents related to the standards of safety for refinery engineering. These documents are recognized globally for their strict, compliance guidelines and are seen as essential to the industry.
The application was designed to be easily accessible regardless of device for engineers out in the field. This meant a clear hierarchy of information was required with little to no graphics interfering with the design or requiring additional load times.
Additionally, special attention was made to ensure these pages could be branded to fit the identity of each client through their unique colors and logos.
